Supporting our girls

ABOUT OUR ORGANIZATION

A Sister’s Hand, Inc. is a nonprofit organization, formed in 2021 by our organizer, Stacey Pierce. Our mission is to provide support to young black girls between the ages of 10 to 18. We provide paired mentorship, educational tutoring, exposure to Arts and Humanities, and scholarships for continued education. Our organization is solely operated from donations and grants. With community support, no participant has to pay for any service or activity. We are committed to cultivating a lifelong sisterhood!

“No one has ever seen God. But if we love each other, God lives in us, and His love is brought to full expression in us.”

Stacey Pierce, Executive Director, founded A Sister’s Hand, Inc., in January 2021. She holds a Juris Doctor and a Master’s of Business Administration. With over 20 years of corporate, legal, and nonprofit experience, Ms. Pierce discovered her true calling was service. As a mother of two daughters, she knows the importance of educational and personal support for young girls, especially black girls. As a result, A Sister’s Hand, Inc. was born.
